William Taylor is a Senior Attorney at Meyer Law Group. He possesses over 15 years of expertise in the areas of US and global immigration, corporate relocation, assignment management and cross border tax compliance. William was most recently Head of Global Mobility at Adobe Systems Incorporated, where he built and led one of the most admired and successful Global Mobility programs in the high-tech industry. His expertise spans the range of immigrant and nonimmigrant business immigration matters, including employment visas for professionals, intra-company transferees, investors, trainees, and all stages of the employment-based Green Card process.
William currently advises companies of all sizes on program and policy development, program management, best practices, and employer compliance issues. He possesses experience preparing and reviewing all non-immigrant visa case types, including: H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, F-1, J-1, E-3, and B-1 cases. He regularly handles immigrant visa cases including labor certification based I-140s and EB-1 cases (all types). He has deep expertise in all areas of the PERM labor certification program.
William currently serves as President, Bay Area Mobility Management, the Bay Area’s non-profit, ERC-recognized group dedicated to providing education, mentoring and networking opportunities to Global Mobility professionals. He is a recognized leader in the Global Mobility industry, and has been a frequent speaker at numerous industry events, including: American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) – Global Migration Conference, Worldwide ERC, Bay Area Mobility Management, HR West (NCHRA), Arizona Relocation Alliance, Austin Relocation Council, Pacific Northwest Relocation Council, Atlas Forum, Global Business News.
William received his Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University Law School and his Bachelor’s of Arts from Boston University. He is a Member of the New Jersey State Bar.
William is an avid international traveler. He has traveled extensively in Southeast Asia, South America and Europe, and has lived in Vietnam and Argentina. He loves playing tennis and spending time with his family, and has two young daughters who keep him laughing. He is fluent in Spanish.
