Case Summary

In this case, a mining company with a plant project in Minnesota hired Meyer Law Group to assist in filing an O-1A petition for an individual with extraordinary ability in business. Specifically, the company intended to hire the client as Chief Technology Officer to oversee the company’s long term strategy of environmentally sound and safe production of natural resources.

The client has a long history and impressive background which qualifies him for O-1A status. At the time of filing, the client authored ten scholarly articles and was granted two patents in the field of super-computing software engineering. Also, he has a Ph.D. in Financial Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ.

In addition, the petition included multiple letters of recommendation from other experts in the field. Each letter verified the client’s level of expertise and reputation as a gifted engineer and manager. For instance, one letter estimated that, “there are less than a dozen individuals in the world with [the client’s] particular set of skills.”  Moreover, at his previous place of employment, the client led a small mining firm to become one of the most sustainable companies in India. The client even earned a Sustainability Achievement award given by the President of India at the time.

The company was so satisfied with the services of MLG, they hired our firm to file the client’s EB-1B for permanent residence. In conclusion, MLG is thankful for the client and his company’s continued support and trust in our firm.
